Solution to Stinking Garbage Bin Centre

Updated: Jan 4, 2022

Green Air Biotech offers a solution which is effective for both solid and liquid waste deodorisation. This process involves atomisation of Multi Microbial Deodorant (MMD) that targets 122 types of VOCs elimination. It is completely natural and neutralises 133 kinds of odorous bacteria. With MMD treatment, the biodegradation of the bacteria in waste will metabolise into CO2 and H2O. This effectively lasts for 48 hours, with no secondary pollution.

Our MMD contains concentrated live bacteria and is dispersed into the air with an atomiser (applicator). Only a small amount of MMD is required to neutralise unpleasant odours. It can be used indoors or outdoors as it is non-toxic, non-flammable, and does not contain masking agents. It is completely safe to use and will not harm human health or the environment.

In the waste management process, odorous gases start from the household kitchens, into rubbish chutes, pneumatic suction or manual collections to bin centres, to collection trucks, to incinerators. Air pollution is a real problem around these hot spots and public complaints fall on deaf ears as there is currently no effective solution - no government-regulated guidelines for waste segregation, and no government legislation on odours pollution caused by garbage.

Every developed country has a statutory odours emission standard as a reference and for enforcement. Developing countries in Asia like South Korea, Taiwan, and China have very detailed guidelines and strict enforcement on waste segregation. Australia and Japan are leading the charge on this front, as garbage collection trucks are not allowed to stink and pollute the neighbourhoods.

Atomiser

Installing an Atomiser system is easy, and customisable to the various needs of these hot spots - sprayed down rubbish chutes or misted in bin centres. Using a combination of techniques, the Atomiser can be set to automatically mist the area periodically - constantly treating malodorous bacteria from the waste. MMD used in this aerial cleansing technique contains probiotics, which are very effective in neutralising malodours, making the treated air smell neutral and fresh. This is not only time-saving, and labour-saving, we can also ensure that it has a high safety performance, with a low operating cost.

Benefits of high-pressure spray deodorisation Atomiser:

  1. Comply with environmental and health and safety regulations;

  2. Protects neighbouring communities from obnoxious odours emission;

  3. Up to 95% airborne odour removal rate;

  4. Low noise reduces complaints;

  5. Higher limit of deodorising ability and control of odours emission;

  6. Do not rely on chemical reagents to remove malodorous molecules;

  7. It is safe, non-toxic, and there is no risk of dangerous by-products through reagents and chemical reactions;

  8. Easy to install;

  9. Long service life;

  10. Automatic operation can save labour and ensure that your system runs when you need it most;
